Anamaria is a Romanian actor. She made her screen debut through Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic and was the recipient of the British Academy Television Award for the Best actress. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 zile" (4 Months Three Weeks And Two Days) that won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two additional awards: the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. In addition, she appeared as the child character in the film of Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she appeared as Yasim Anwar on the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca played roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian Drama Boogie. Then she was Irma's German Aunt in Fury the film, which came out in 2014.
